Materia NiCr8020, numero materiali 2.4869, in forma taeniarum, laminarum, tuborum et filorum ad partes constructionis fornacum et conductorum calefactionis adhibetur.

Est mixtura calefactionis conductoris ex nickelo et chromio ad temperaturas operandi usque ad 1150°C, et saepe additiva terrarum rararum continet ad maiorem resistentiam oxidationi, praesertim cum frequentibus operationibus commutationis vel latis variationibus temperaturae.

Resistentia corrosionis atmosphaericae ad 20°C alta est usque ad superiorem temperaturam operationis; resistentia etiam alta est erga aerem et alia gasia oxygenium continentia, necnon erga gasia nitrogenium continentia et oxygenio humili, attamen humilis est erga gasia oxidantia necnon reducentia sulphure continentia.
Resistentia carbonizationi alta est. Usus in furnis electricis industrialibus, furnis smaltationis, apparatibus domesticis, calefactoribus nocturnis accumulationis currentis.
