Ni80Cr20 est allygium nickel-chromium (NiCr alloy) insignitum magno resistivitatis, boni oxidationis resistentiae et firmitatis formae valde bonae. Aptum est usui temperaturae usque ad 1200°C, et vitam superiorem chromium alumii mixti ferrei comparatam habere.
Applicationes typicae pro Ni80Cr20 sunt elementa electrica calefactoria in domum adjumenta, fornax industriae et resistores (resistentes wirewound, resistores metallicus pellicularum), ferramenta plana, machinis ferreis, calentium aqua, corona plastica moritur, ferrum solidans, elementa metalla vaginata tubulosa et cartridge elementa.
