Ni70Cr30 est mixtura austenitica niccoli et chromii apta ad temperaturas usque ad 1250°C. Alta copia chromii (30% mediocriter) vitam optimam praebet, praesertim in fornacibus. Ni70Cr30 resistivitate magna, bona resistentia oxidationis, ductilitate post usum bona, et sudurabilitate excellenti insignitur.
Ni70Cr30 ad elementa calefactionis electricae in caminis industrialibus adhibetur. Usus typici sunt: camini electrici et smaltationis, calefactores accumulationis, camini et fornaces cum atmosphaera mutante.
