Mixtiones cupri niccoli (CuNi) sunt materiae resistentiae mediae vel humilis, typice adhibitae in applicationibus cum temperaturis maximis operationis usque ad 400°C (750°F).
Coefficientibus resistentiae electricae temperaturae humilibus, resistentia, et ergo effectus, constans est temperatura quacumque. Mixturae cupreae niccoli mechanice bonam ductilitatem praebent, facile adglutinantur et suuntur, necnon egregiam resistentiam corrosionis habent. Hae mixturae typice in applicationibus altae currentis quae magnum gradum praecisionis requirunt adhibentur.
Filum e mixtura cuprea, quod caloris resistentiam praebet, humilis est, bonam resistentiam corrosionis, proprietates soldadurae, et proprietates machinabilitatis habet; aptum est autem ad relais oneris thermalis, interruptores circuitus humilis tensionis, aliaque instrumenta electrica humilis tensionis, necnon ad fabricanda elementa calefactionis instrumentorum domesticorum, et alia instrumenta electrica. Etiam materia magni momenti est in productione funium calefacientium.
